Dr Bashirat Bello, founder of Murabiyah Holistics Clinic, Sunday said the organisation’s mission is to revive the sunnah of Islamic Medicine through practice and training.
On October 9, 2022, Murabiyah Holistics Clinic in Ilorin held its grand opening. The program, which was scheduled to begin at 10am, started with the introduction of the Guest Lecturer, Dr. Yusuf (Abu Muhammad), a well-known Naturopathic practitioner in Ilorin, the day’s chairman, Dr. Haruna Sanusi Lafiagi from Al Hikmah University, and Brother Tajudeen Olawuyi. Dr. Lafiagi led a prayer at the beginning.
The main aim of opening the event in a grand style, according to Dr. Bashirat, was to create awareness that such a professional service is available in our community.
Murabiyah Holistics is an alternative medical center that uses Islamic Medicine and herbal therapy to help people cure diseases that are causing major discomfort in their lives.
The founder stated, “the likes of it is only found in countries that I have visited like Dubai, Qatar and the United Kingdom but then, I thought why can’t we have something of such in Nigeria? Why can’t we have it in Ilorin, Kwara State.
“I decided to create such a nice ambience, a warm reception, a clean and Professional Hijama Treatment Center, a Classic Islamic store and Library Cafe. The library Cafe is an idea I got from visiting and studying in the UK.”
The Center helps people to live a pain free life by walking them to healing using holistic approach. Murabiyah Holistics is located beside Faab Filling Station, Opposite Halal Store, Tipper Garage, Tanke, Ilorin.
Dr Bashirat added, “these Cafe’s, also common in Korea, allows you to come and read in the library so you can enjoy the abundance of books as well as have something to munch on, a cup of coffee or tea while to travel the pages of books.”
The Natural Medicine as the lasting cure to all diseases that have been termed unexplainable was the topic of a talk. The presenter for the day, Dr. Yusuf, informed the audience about the importance of healthy eating, movement and going back to natural herbs and prophetic medicine.
With thanks to Allah and to everyone who came to see the opening, the celebration came to a close. Visitors were given a tour of the Clinic, which was breathtaking.
At Murabiyah Holistics Clinic, the therapeutic techniques used are Clinically Applied Hijama cupping therapy, Islamic Medicine (Tibb Nabawi), Acupuncture, Mizan Abdominal Therapy, Herbal therapy, Medical Massage and Pelvic hydrotherapy.
Additionally, there are readily available professional services such as Meeting and Conference Hall, Islamic bookstore, and Library Cafe.
