I was born on 22 January 1974, married with two children, and hail from Okpella in Edo State. I graduated from the University of Ilorin in 1998 with a B.Sc in Industrial Chemistry. I possess MSc. qualifications in Industrial Chemistry (UI, Ibadan, Nigeria – 2003), Oil & Gas Engineering (RGU, Aberdeen, UK – 2008) and Sustainability (UOD, Dundee, UK – 2022) and a number of international certifications mostly in the field of ISO management systems. I worked for about 14 years at the Standards Organisation of Nigeria and about 5 years as CEO/Principal Consultant at Auphysh Services Limited. I have over 19 years of cumulative experience in the public and private sectors, and based on these and my academic qualifications and certifications, I have evolved into a Sustainable Development Professional.
Memorable moments in life
My role as the Federal Republic of Nigeria nominated Technical Secretary for the Technical Harmonisation Committee on Chemicals and Chemical Engineering (THC 05) at the African Organisation for Standardisation (ARSO); Member, CHS Verification Advisory Panel (for the CHS Alliance) and American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) Representative on Cmte TC 283/ISO 45001.
Lessons learnt
Learning to have 100% trust in almighty Allah.
Philosophy of life
Always be patient and show gratitude. Do not take what does not belong to you, love your neighbour as yourself and not more than yourself, do unto others what you want others to do unto you, and celebrate and cheer others.
