FUTA Student, Halimah Olaolohun Wins Cybersecurity Scholarship

Halimah Olaolohun Abdul-Azeez, a student currently in her fourth year of study in the Department of Cybersecurity at the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), has garnered a notable achievement.

She has been chosen as the sole recipient from Nigeria among four distinguished individuals globally to receive the esteemed One In Tech Cybersecurity Month Scholarship, presented by the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).

This esteemed scholarship, administered by One In Tech, is dedicated to supporting students who are pursuing either undergraduate or graduate degrees in the field of cybersecurity. It provides financial assistance covering tuition expenses along with access to an ISACA career-building bundle.

Halimah, who currently holds the position of Vice President at the Cybersecurity Research Society within FUTA, demonstrates outstanding leadership qualities and a steadfast dedication to her academic pursuits.
