Abdulganiyu Abdulrahman, an Ilorin indigent, the capital City of Kwara State has bagged First Class Honour and Best Graduating Student in his department, Islamic Studies at Usmanu Dan Fodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS).
The Usmanu Danfodiyo University was established in 1975 by the Federal Government of Nigeria and was known as The University of Sokoto.
Abdulrahman said: “By Allah’s grace and permission, I’m highly delighted to inform you that I pulled a CGPA of 4.96/5.0 in the Department of Islamic Studies, UDUS.”
“It is what Allah has destined! All that I treasure most is your prayers for me, especially this period of Ramadan. JazakumLlahu Khairan,” he added.
Meanwhile, according to a reliable source, he is the First overall best student in the history of Usmanu Danfodiyo University superpass AbdulQodir who graduated in 2015 with CGPA of 4.95 in Mathematics Department and that achievement made him the First Best Graduating Student in UDUS. But as at 2018, PARAGON graduated with CGPA of 4.91/5.00 in Mathematics Department. Same 2018 Abdulganiyu Abdulrahman was given admission to student Islamic Studies. Now, Abdulrahman has graduated with CGPA of 4.96/5.00 making him the First Best Graduating Student since 1975.
