
Malam Muhammad Lawal Maidoki Sadaukin Sakkwato, the Executive Chairman of Sokoto State Zakat and Endowment Commission (SOZECOM) has being presented the Radio Callers Humanitarian Service Merit Award on the occasion organised to mark the fifth anniversary of the association.
The event was held at Sultan Muhammad Maccido Institute auditorium Hall, Sokoto.
In his speech the state chairman of the radio callers Abdulaziz Muhammad Assada noted that, “the award was in recognition of Malam Muhammad Lawal Maidoki Sadaukin Sakkwato towards general character development of the youth and wellbeing of their less privileged especially orphans and the almajiri in Sokoto and beyond.”
Similarly, the Sokoto state deputy governor, Honourable Munir Muhammad Dan’Iya Walin Sakkwato was also awarded along side Sadaukin Sakkwato. A paper was presented on the role of media towards strengthening democracy during the event by professor Yahaya Tanko Baba from Usmanu Danfodiyo sokoto.
According to the statement seen by The Muslim Voice Nigeria, Sadaukin Sakkwato was represented by by his Media team Husaini A Ahmad Head of Media and Publicity, Murtala Abubakar ST PRO of SOZECOM and Mukhtar A Haliru Tambuwal respectively.
Recall that the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) under the able leadership of its President General His Eminence the Sultan of Sokoto Alh Muhammad Saad AbubakarI III CFR mni recently approved the nomination and subsquent appointment of Malam Muhammad Lawal Maidoki Sadaukin Sakkwato as member Board of Trust of Mission For Education, Social and Health (MESH).
