On Saturday, the 150 Qur’an memorization champions were honored at the Ar Raheem International School for Qur’an Memorization and Arabic Studies. The ceremony was attended by people from all walks of life, but particularly powerful politicians and well-known Islamic clerics from Ilorin and other parts of the nation. Sheikh Abdulmajeed Imran Eleha, Professor. Ahmad Maqari, Chief Imam National Mosque, Abuja; Dr. Abdulateef Abdulhakeem, Chief Imam Lagos State House of Assembly, Senator Ali Ndume, Ambassador Yahya Seriki Gambari, Grand Kadi of Kwara State Shariah Court of Appeal, Abdullateef Kamaldeen, Dr. Sheikh Abubakr Abdulahi Salaty, Sheikh Abd Raheem Abdulah Salaty Al barizy; and other prominent Islamic scholars attended the event.
The graduation class is made up of both male and female pupils who recently finished learning the Holy Book by heart. The school’s Bouquet Hall hosted the occasion and magazine launch for Ar Raheem International School.
Ambassador Yahya Seriki Gambari contributes one million naira to the personnel of the Ar Raheem International College and two million naira to the institution itself at the event. He acknowledges and supports the instructors’ efforts.
