๐๐๐ง๐ง๐ข ๐ ๐๐ซ๐ฎ๐ช ๐๐ฅ๐๐ฐ๐๐ฅ๐, a ๐ ๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ง๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ (4.60/5.0) of ๐๐ฌ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง from ๐๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ ๐จ๐ฌ (UNILAG).
My Tertiary academic journey was an emotional rollercoaster. ๐๐๐ญ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐จ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ญ๐จ๐จ๐ค ๐ฆ๐ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฆ๐๐ฌ (๐๐๐,๐๐๐,๐๐๐,๐๐๐, ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฆ๐ ๐ฌ๐๐จ๐ซ๐). At some point I had to settle for a diploma, before finally securing an admission into the University of Lagos (UNILAG). D๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข๐ญ๐ ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ ๐ ๐ฅ๐๐ฌ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฌ ๐ ๐ญ๐จ๐จ๐ค ๐ข๐ง ๐ฌ๐๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ, and outside school.
From the initial financial struggles, to starting and running my own businesses, one even folded up at some point, to serving as the Financial Secretary and eventually the President of my Amiable department BUSINESS STUDENTS ASSOCIATION, UNILAG, putting all this together, it was quite difficult to get an Academic balance. All ๐ ๐๐๐ง ๐ฌ๐๐ฒ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ก ๐ฆ๐๐๐ graduating on ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ฌ note ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ฅ๐. ๐๐ฅ๐ก๐๐ฆ๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ก๐ข ๐ซ๐จ๐๐ข๐ฅ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ฆ๐ข๐งโฆ
Founded in 1962, the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has, for over 5 decades, provided qualitative and research-oriented education to Nigerians and all those who have entered its domain in search of knowledge. The University has built a legacy of excellence and has been instrumental in the production of top range graduates and academia who have had tremendous impact, directly or indirectly, on growth and development in Nigeria.
