The Masjid Muhammad Rosullullah Islamic Centre (MRC), often known as Masjid 140, is a spiritual lighthouse located in the centre of Surulere, Lagos.
On January 3, 2024, Masjid 140, a grand and majestic mosque located at 140 Ogunlana Drive in Lagos, was officially opened. Masjid 140 is more than simply an address; it’s a hallowed place where people’s hearts unite.
Masjid 140 is painted a distinctive white colour from inside-out, complete with an opulent stairway worthy of a house of worship for Allah, and a green colour with an Arabic inscription at the top of the structure.
The main structure also has a golden dome, translucent glass panes, and well-decorated white window iron guards with an Arabesque design within. There is a golden chandelier in the centre of the main mosque of the male congregation.
In order to enhance the lighting in the spiritually elevated areas, the female side of the masjid also features more than three distinct chandeliers.
For certain purposes, there are also well-furnished offices. There are golden taps fixed with automated dryers at the ablution side.
Corporate offices and residential buildings surround the mosque outside the building.
