The Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals (IIFP), the pioneer Islamic Financial Institution in Nigeria has awarded the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) Chairman/CEO, Alhaji Zikrullah Kunle Hassan as Fellow.
The IIFP Fellowship award was presented by the President/Chairman, Governing Council, Professor Tajudeen Olalekan Yusuf today, Wednesday 7th December 2022 at the conference center National Mosque, Abuja.
Alhaji Hassan is an Osun State native and was born in 1961. He holds a B.Sc degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos, LLB from the Lagos State University and BL from the Nigerian Law School, Lagos, was Chairman/Amir Hajj of Osun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board (2010-2018); Senior Special Assistant to the Osun State Governor on Religious Affairs Affairs, (2010-2018); Principal Counsel, Olakunle Hassan & Associates (2006-2010) and Chief Executive, Tafsan Tours &Travels, (Official Hajj &Umrah Operator of Nasirullahi Fathi Society of Nigeria- NASFAT). He was Chairman, Forum of State Chairmen and Secretaries of Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Agency between 2014 and 2017.
The IIFP is established for building capacity, promoting Islamic financial practices and for advocating best practice in Islamic Financial sector in Nigeria and globally through research, teaching and learning activities for professional membership. The Institute is dedicated to supporting professionals whose daily efforts impact people’s lives in ways that are felt far beyond the workplace; by helping to create better managers and leaders.
