We Are All Bereaved! By Abu Mazeedatilkhayr Bn Sa’eed

It’s shocking and sad at the same time as I woke up to the dolorous news of the death of Ustadh Ridwan Soenu. May Allah accept his return.

Ustadh Soenu was a distinguished daai’ of high repute; an Islamic thinker per excellence who stood for the truth throughout his earthly sojourn.

Amongst his many achievements in the field of dawah was that he had succesfully planted a seed of change in his birth place – the heart of Lagos Island; and the seed of dawah has sprouted into a huge tree that produces tasty fruits for many people.

Amir Qamardeen Ajala is the major seed of dawah planted and piously nurtured in the Island of Lagos by Ustadh Suenu. We are all witnesses to the incomparable efforts of Amir Ajala in the field of dawah, as he sits on the Island and breeds angels in the midst of demons.

The worst of thugs have become the best of Sunnah ideologues on account of Ajala’s Dawah.

It’s indeed a long journey, from Ajala’s IbadulLaahi Saabirin of the late 80s, where he got his title of Amir, to his Markaz Da’wah of today, where he continues to strive to spread the truth. ..

Who’s the Next Guest of the Grave? By Abu Mazeedatilkhayr Bn Sa’eed

Ustadh Ridwan Soenu was committed to organising his annual event, “Who is Muhammad” as he remained truthful in his trade of hajj rites slaughter throughout his stay on earth.

I saw him last at Muna during the last hajj where we discussed extensively about his trade of slaughter. He contributed in no small measure to the dawah of change.

Ustadh Ridwan Soenu will henceforth share from the reward of Amir Ajala’s dawah…

Striving here to fix my own things outside the country, Amir Ajala placed a call across to me from Nigeria to break the sad news of his teacher’s death.

I was emotionally broken as I heard him burst into tears on phone, sobbing in sorrow and a sense of acute bereavement. I couldn’t also resist the infectious tears.

It’s indeed a huge loss for the dawah of truth in Lagos Island. I personally benefited from Ustadh Soenu’s occasional counsels in the field of dawah.

Amir Ajala should seek consolation in the fact that his teacher had bequethed a legacy of righteousness to the world through him.

May Allah accept his return. May Allah grant him aljannat Firdaws. May Allah console our brother and friend, Amir Qamardeen Ajala.
