The Muslim Board of Trustee in Osun State led by Sheikh Mudathir Akinlade has expressed its gratitude to Oluwo of Iwoland Oba Abdul Rasheed Adewale Akanbi for appointing Sheikh Daood Imran Molaasan as the Grand Mufti of Yorubaland.
On Thursday, 7th October, 2021 during their courtesy visit to the national headquarters of Ta’awun, Iwo to show their happiness on the right step taken by Oluwo.
The group described Sheikh Daood Imran Molaasan as a golden son of Islam which all Muslim must continue to pray for and support for better future of Yoruba Islam.

Grand Mufti Launches Islamic Network
The Grand Mufti of Yorubaland, founder and National President of Jama’at Ta’awuil Muslimeen has launched an Islamic network that will link, unite and channel a new path for Yoruba Muslims.
The network is aimed at ensuring formation of brotherhood among Muslim brothers across the region, while at the same using the formation to assist, help the needy Muslims and fight legally whenever the right of any Muslims is being deprived or denied. Not only that, the Islamic Network would also assist Muslims in making one decision on any political matter in the country.
The network will comprise influential Muslims in all fields, who love Islam and ready to work for its growth and development, that will change status of Muslims and restructure the Yoruba Islam.
