The Nigerian national team’s most-capped player, Ahmed Musa has donated a sum of $1,500 to a Central Mosque in Garoua, Cameroon where the Muslim players have been observing their prayers.
Ahmed Musa is the Super Eagles captain at the ongoing 2022 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon, West Africa.
The Muslim Voice source said,“Musa has donated $1,500 to support the ongoing building project of the Central Mosque in Garoua.
“Players and officials of the team have been worshiping in the Central Mosque since they arrived in Garoua.
“The gesture to support the ongoing building project was appreciated by the leaders of the Mosque,” our source noted.
Some months ago, Musa donated the sum of two million naira to the construction of a mosque inside Army Day Secondary School, Bokavu, Kano State.
