In the Saudi Arabian city of Buraydah, Sheikh Saleh Al Humaid (Saleh bin Abdullah bin Muhammad Al Humaid) was born in 1950. He apparently memorized the Holy Quran when he was about 20 years old.
He received his early education in Buraydah and graduated from Umm Al Qurra University in Makkah in 1975. He also earned his master’s degree and doctorate from Umm Al Qurra University in Makkah in 1976 and 1982, respectively.
In 1983, at the age of 33, he was appointed as the imam of Masjid Al Haram.
He formerly held the positions of President of the Soura Council and President of the High Judiciary Commission.
He serves a professor and Admin, and member of the senior Ulema council at Umm Al Qurra University’s Faculty of Ulema.
Additionally, he provides advice to the Saudi Arabian Royal Court.
