MULAN’s National Executive Council will Meet in Abuja


On July 2nd, 2022, the Muslim Lawyers’ Association of Nigeria (MULAN) will host its National Executive Council (NEC) Meeting in Abuja. This was stated in a statement issued by Adam Olori-Aje Esq, MULAN Secretary General, on the 12th Dhul Qadah, 1444/12th June, 2022.

Adam Olori-Aje, Esq noted that, the NEC Meeting is expected to be an expanded one. The expanded NEC Meeting becomes necessary in view of recent events and developments in the legal profession and the country at large, and the position of MULAN with respect to them.

He said, “The NEC is therefore expected to take critical look at these developments and take critical decisions and positions on them with a view to charting a new cause.

“To this end, all MULAN chairmen and secretaries, and 2 NEC Representatives each of MULAN branches across the states of the federation are expected to attend the meeting. Also expected at the NEC Meeting are all National Officers, Past Presidents, past Secretaries General and other invited stakeholders/delegates whom the National Officers may deem fit to invite.

The Meeting will take place at the Conference Hall of the National Mosque, Central Business District, Abuja by 10am, according to MULAN.

“Arrival for the meeting is NEC Meeting is 1st of July, 2022. Others to be as stakeholders/delegates including further specific details shall be communicated the individuals and the chairmen of their respective states.”

“While looking forward to receiving you all at the NEC Meeting, we pray Allah spare our lives to to live to witness the event and beyond,” the statement added.
