Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, the Acting Governor of Kaduna State, has swore in Umma Yusuf Aboki as the Commissioner, Planning and Budget Commission, and the duo of Kabir Mohammed Mainasibi and Bashir Muhammad mni, as Permanent Secretaries.
With Umma Aboki’s appointments, the total number of female commissioners have raising to 8 out of the 14 members of the Kaduna State Executive Council.
Recall Umma Aboki was the Permanent Secretary of the Kaduna Planning and Budget Commission until her inauguration.
In 2017, she was appointed as Special Adviser to Governor Nasir El-Rufai on Economic and Investment Matters by the Kaduna State Government.
She was also the Executive Secretary of the Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency (KADIPA) from 2018 to 2021, where she oversaw the state’s investment push.
