The spiritual leader of Nigeria’s Muslims, the Sultan Of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, has commiserated with the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States, Alhaji Dawud Akinola, over the death of one of his wives, Alhaja Halimat Akinola.
On Thursday, Sultan Abubakar during a visit to Alhaji Akinola at his residence in Ibadan, Oyo State, described the death as shocking and painful, but urged the Aare Musulumi to take solace in Allah as the Giver and Taker of life.

The Muslim Voice source noted that, Sultan Abubakar prayed Allah to rest the soul of the deceased and grant the Akinola family fortitude to bear the loss. Recall that Alhaja Halimat Akinola passed on Tuesday 27th October this year.
