
Executive Governor of Borno State, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum has approved and released the sum of N476, 640,000 for payment of 2020/2021 scholarship to 15,374 citizens of Borno State in tertiary institutions across the state.
On Monday, the State Commissioner for Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Engr. Babagana Mallumbe Mustapha announced the release in the State capital, Maiduguri, after a meeting with the National Union of Borno State Students (NUBOSS) at the Borno State Scholarship Board.
He indicated that e-payments will applied for the disbursements to all beneficiaries.
The Executive Secretary Scholarship Board Mallam Bala Isa called on benefiting students to face their studies seriously.
National Union of Borno State Students (NUBOSS) President, Comrade Sugun Abba on behalf of all benefiting students, commended Governor Zulum for his consistent passion for the welfare of students and commitment towards improving the standard of education in all parts of Borno State.

But what’s wrong with the payment? A lot of students are complaining that they didn’t see there own. And is gating to week since the payment started.
