A medieval mosque constructed by a Christian in Osogbo at Oja Oba is located behind the local herbal market and is very close to the city’s main mosque, Oja Oba.
Osogbo is a city in Nigeria. It is some 88 kilometers by road northeast of Ibadan.
When questioned why he funded the refurbishment project. The Christian remarked, “Anytime my dad bullied my mum everybody will be sent out and no one will give us shelter but the Mosque.”
“Me and my mum slept in the Mosque several times till day break. It’s a payback time to turned the Mosque to modern one.”
