The death has been announced of a member of Presidential Livestock Reforms Implementation Committee, Dr Mustapha Ayo Popoola today. Until his death, he was Special Assistant to the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security on Livestock Matters.
A statement issued by the Secretary of the committee, Professor Mohammed Kuta Yahaya (Magatakarda Nupe) and Pro Chancellor, Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna says the funeral will hold today at the Abuja National Mosque after Zuhur prayer.
He described the deceased as a devoted Muslim, mentor to many, a cherished colleague whose dedication, humility, and commitment to excellence left a lasting impact on all who knew him. His contributions to academia and the lives he touched will never be forgotten.
“We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, students, and colleagues during this difficult time and prayed Allah SWT to forgive him his shortcomings and grant him Al-jannatul Firdausi,” Kuta added.
