Sultan To Sponsor Education Of Tasi’u Umar, An Orphan From Zamfara State


Impressed with the extra-ordinary display of natural aptitude by the child, His Eminence the Sultan has granted a scholarship to Tasi’u Umar, MSSN Gummi, of Gummi Local Government area council of the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria MSSN and a participant at the just concluded Special 35th Islamic Vacation Course (IVC) held in Sokoto.

Sultan Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar CFR mni made this commitment during the closing ceremony of the Special Islamic Vacation Course (IVC) organized by the MSSN Sokoto area unit held at Sultan Muhammad Maccido Institute for Qur’an and General Studies Sokoto.

Tasi’u Umar’s exceptional skills had earned him recognition, having successfully created a helicopter and host other impressive projects displayed at the event much to the delight of all in attendance. The Sultan’s pledge is a testament to his dedication to supporting and empowering talented young individuals, especially the less privileged to harness their talents and meet dreams of their life.

During the ceremony, Sultan Sa’ad, who was represented by Sadaukin Sakkwato  Mal. Muhammad Lawal Maidoki  expressed his appreciation for the organizers and assured them of the Sultanate Council’s continued support. This promise not only brings hope to Tasi’u Umar but also underscores the Sultan’s commitment to education and community development.
