Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has rewarded the overall best student of the Lagos State University (LASU), Olaniyi Olawale, with N10 million during the university’s 27th Convocation and 40th Anniversary on Thursday.
Last week, the university announced that Olaniyi Mubaraq Olawale of the Accounting Education with a CGPA of 4.98 [First Class Honours] as the best-graduating student for 2022/2023.
Meanwhile, a total of 153 students graduated with first class. Also, out of the 8,670 students that graduated for 1st Degree programmes in the university, 153 came out with First Class, 3029 graduated with second class Upper Division, 715 graduated with second class Lower Division, 228 graduated with a Pass, and 195 graduated with Non-Classified Degrees.
