One of the best methods to recognize and honor student accomplishments is to personalize the commendation. Universities are excellent role models when it comes to celebrating success. Today marks the start of the three days of degree ceremonies at the 54th Convocation Ceremonies at the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
Umar-Farouq Ayoola Awodun, the best graduating student in the University of Lagos’ (UNILAG) Faculty of Social Sciences, stole the show during the morning session of the 2022 Convocation Day One, according to a viral video provided by the institution.
Farouq Awodun is a graduate of the Department of Economics and a stunningly gorgeous man who is well on his way of obtaining his ACCA certification. According to UNILAG, he finished with a CGPA of 4.92 and attributes his success to discipline, self-awareness and detailed planning. Similarly, he passed the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) exams in 2017 while attending Crescent College on Victoria Island in Lagos, earning 7A1s and 2B2s.
