Kaosarat Adeboye, obtained a Bachelor of Science in Management and Accounting with a remarkable CGPA of 4.78/5.0. She was one of the 158 students of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Osun State that bagged First Class degrees at the institution’s 47th Convocation ceremonies.
Kaosarat a native of Ode-Omu, Osun State also received an award as the best student in Auditing (ACC 303). According to her, the journey wasn’t easy because she started and completed her Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) journey when she was an undergraduate. “Combining ICAN tutorials, ICAN Exams, extra-curricular activities with School activities wasn’t easy but what kept me going was growth and my love for best results,” she told The Muslim Voice NG.
“I am the kind of individual who is always willing to achieve my intended objectives. In order to achieve the objectives, I worked towards my physical strength and spiritual strength. My physical strength is reading my book daily and not pilling up, and my spiritual strength is Prayer because it is only Almighty Allah that can crown one’s efforts.”
“Acquiring a first class degree has impacted my life in many ways positively such as it opens my eyes to better career opportunity, it makes me believe more in myself and strength and increases my intention to use my acquired knowledge and skills to work in a firm and achieve the best of results.”
“Also, having a good friend is the best decision I made during my undergraduate days. A big shout out to my friends,” Kaosarat continued. She however looks forward to different job opportunities, mentoring, advises to crown her little wins.
