“With total submission to the will of Allah (SWT), Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani has received the news of the passing of an illustrious son of Kaduna State- Magajin Garin Zazzau Alhaji Mansur Nuhu Bamalli who died at the age of 53 in the early hours of Friday after a brief illness,” Kaduna State Government said in a press release.
The statement signed by Muhammad Lawal Shehu Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Kaduna State on
20th October, 2023 noted that, before his demise, Magajin Gari Mansur was a senior traditional title holder in Zazzau, and a younger brother to the Emir of Zazzau Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli.
According to Muhammad Lawal Shehu, he held several positions in the federal public service which include the most recently the Head of Chancery at the Nigerian Embassy in Morocco, and Acting Ambassador.
He said,”On behalf of the people of Kaduna State, Governor Uba Sani has extended his deepest condolences to the family and has called for prayers from well-meaning Nigerians for the family during this difficult time.”
“The Governor has also announced that his schedule for Friday 20th October 2023, has been postponed to pay final respect to the late Magaji Gari and his grieving loved ones according to Islamic rites.”
