Eid El Kabir: Sokoto Civil Servants celebrate in Cash, As Govt Approves June salaries

The immediate payment of June salaries to employees of the state and local governments, as well as teachers and pensioners throughout Sokoto State, has been approved by Governor Ahmad Aliyu.

This is in fulfilment of the governor’s campaign to ensure prompt payment of salaries and also to ensure that civil servants celebrate the Eid El Kabir with ease, according to a statement by the governor’s press secretary, Abubakar Bawa.

The governor also assured employees of his determination to restore the former glory of the public service and urged them to return the favor by performing their jobs diligently.

The message exhorted the state’s citizens to pray for the present administration to succeed in meeting the yearnings and aspirations of the people.
