Yesterday, during the graduation ceremony of the International Islamic University of Madinah, Shaykh Professor Abdurrazzāq AbdulMajīd Alaro mni was awarded the best alumnus with the highest intellectual impact on the society.

Islamic University of Madinah is one of the top public universities in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, founded by the government of Saudi Arabia under Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud by a royal decree 62 years ago (1961).

The Islamic University celebrated the graduation of the fifty-ninth batch , in which the number of graduates reached 2552, from various countries of the world, and from all scientific and theoretical faculties, at all academic levels under the generous patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah Region, Wednesday.

Meanwhile, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah Region, honored the winners of the Pioneer Alumni Award in its four branches, in its second edition, and within the graduation ceremony of the fifty-ninth batch of the Islamic University, who distinguished themselves in achieving the objectives of the award, and contributed to the development of their countries, and benefited their people including Shaykh Professor Abdurrazzāq AbdulMajīd Alaro of Nigeria. He was awarded the best alumnus with the highest intellectual impact on the society.

Prof. Alaro is an alumnus of Islamic University of Madinah, Saudi-Arabia where he graduated as the best graduating student with a First Class degree in 1993, and was listed in 2017 as one of the most outstanding alumni of the university worldwide, according to his official website. Similarly, he was announced as the Overall Winner of an Annual International Research Competition in 2018, organized by CDA, Riyadh, Saudi-Arabia. He speaks and writes fluently in both Arabic and English.
