An earthquake has struck the Turkey-Syria border late on Monday, setting off a panic. Two weeks after the devastating earthquake.

Turkey’s southern province of Hatay is hit by new 6.4-magnitude earthquake, Guardian reports.

It struck at a depth of just two km (1.2 miles), the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said, potentially magnifying its impact at ground level.

It was centred near the southern Turkish city of Antakya and was felt in Syria, Egypt and Lebanon.

The report says: No new casualties were immediately reported but witnesses report damage. Turkey has reported over 6,000 aftershocks since the February 6 earthquake killed over 46,000 people.
