
The co-founder and Deputy Managing Director of Vetiva, one of Nigeria’s leading Capital Management firms, Olaolu Mudashiru, has died. According to reports, he was involved in a fatal accident while riding his bicycle along Gerrard Road in the Ikoyi area of Lagos on December 11.
Meanwhile, the Lagos State Police Command has launched investigations into the accident that resulted in the death of Laolu, the first son of former military governor of Lagos State, Gbolahan Mudashiru.
Dr. Mudasiru who was cycling with two other persons when the incident occurred.
The other two persons are said to be receiving treatment.
“It was a hit-and-run fatal motor accident. The vehicle make and driver are are yet unknown,” spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin said while confirming the incident.
Hundeyin explained that, “effort is ongoing to track down the fleeing driver. Investigation is in progress, and we have not make any arrest.”
