of Arabic Language Departments in Ethiopian Universities, His Eminence Dr. Said Burhan Abdullah, president of the Union of African Muslim Scholars, and many other members participated.

The Sixth Academic Forum of Arabic Language Departments in Ethiopian Universities is being organized by the Imam Shafi’i College in Adama from November 8 to 15, 2022, in conjunction with the World Symposium of Islamic Youth and the Union of Islamic Universities in Africa.

Members of the Union of African Muslim Scholars from Ethiopia, Kenya, and Côte d’Ivoire take part at the session.

Union of African Muslim Scholars (UAMS), (اتحاد علماء إفريقيا) is an organization of African Muslim scholars headed by Said Bourhane, founded in 2011, and headquartered in Mali. Its vision is to be “a scientific reference point for reawakening of the Islamic community in Africa.”
