Three eminent Nigerians have been honoured with Doctor of Science Honoris Causa of Crescent University, Abeokuta at the institution’s 14th convocation ceremonies. The Osi of Egbaland, High Chief Bode Mustapha, Chief Murtala Adebayo Akande, Alhaja (Mrs) Tamramat Mosun Belo-Olusoga were honoured at the event.

At Crescent University’s 14th convocation ceremonies, the honorees are the Osi of Egbaland, High Chief Bode Mustapha, the Chief Executive Officer, Splash FM, Chief Murtala Adebayo Akande and Banking and Finance Amazon, Alhaja (Mrs) Tamramat Mosun Belo-Olusoga popularly known as Aunty Mo or Mummy Mo.

The well-known, exquisitely designed As-Sujood Mosque was gifted by financial expert Mrs. Belo-Olusoga was commissioned recently. As-Sujood Mosque is the newly built ultra-modern mosque of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye.

The founder of the CKA International School, Ijebu-ode; Alhaja Belo-Olusoga’s strides include: first female Executive Director of GT Bank, first female Chairman of Access Bank, first female Director, First Premium Trust Pensions Ltd, acting Managing Director of Africa GTB, and immediate past Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, among others.

She is now Dr. (Mrs) Mosun Belo-Olusoga (D.Sc) Finance (Honoris Causa). Both young men and women should be inspired by her professional and career journey.
