On Wednesday, October 26, 2022, the Vice-Chancellor of Summit University, Offa, Professor Abiodun Musa Aibinu, had a courtesy visit from the new Commandant of the Nigerian Navy College of Health Sciences, Offa.
The Vice-Chancellor of Summit University, Offa, welcomed Navy Captain A. N. Ossai, the ninth Commandant of the Nigerian Navy College of Health Sciences, with enthusiasm.
The university is prepared to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the military architecture, and Professor A. M. Aibinu emphasized the university’s desire to work with the new Commandant to strengthen the current cooperation between the two institutions.
Professor A. M. Aibinu expressed the readiness of the University to sign Memorandum of Understanding with the Military architecture and willingness to work with the new Commandant to strengthen the existing relationship between the two institutions.
The necessity to create innovations and inventions that will transform how we live in our communities, how to defend our country, and how to work in Africa was previously discussed by Professor A. M. Aibinu with his guest. He said that a variety of strategies, including Skills, Teaching, Internationalisation, Funding and Fund Generation, Research, Collaboration and Sustainability can be used to accomplish these goals.
Captain Ossai’s opinion was that the visitation was intended to establish a line of communication and collaboration with Summit University, Offa.
The Nigerian Navy College of Health Sciences, according to her, is responsible for training middle medical personnel.
Captain Ossai repeatedly emphasized on the need for the College to tap into the rich reservoir of knowledge of the University for the improvement of the instructors of the College for better. She vowed to continue the symbiotic relationship and collaboration that have existed between the two institutions.
