A 9-year-old child was photographed carrying three bags on his back, and the image quickly went viral on social media.
Mishal Al-Shahrani was observed returning home from school in Khamis Mushayt, in the southern Asir region, carrying his own bag as well as the luggage of his sisters Sarah and Noura.
Their father was captivated by the wonderful image, and he snapped a photo and shared it on the WhatsApp group for his family.
The image quickly gained attention from a large number of people who liked, commented on, and shared it.
Mishal, a student at Khamis Mushayt’s Ibn Nafees Elementary School, responded to the picture’s overwhelming popularity by saying, “I always like to help my family, especially my sisters Sarah and Noura while returning from school.”
“The bags were not heavy, but I wanted to help them in the crowd and the hot weather,” he said while noting that he came to know about the photograph taken by his father only after it went viral on social media.

The governor of Khamis Mushayt and the director of education for the Asir district praised the kid for his selfless deed in their remarks.
“This reflects the outcome of good raising and preparing the child to shoulder responsibility despite his young age,” they commented.
Asir Education Director Dr. Ahmed Al-Omari commented: “A beautiful position, and a more beautiful snap, embodying great meaning.
“Everyone is a partner in making it — home, school and society — and it is not surprising that this child has embodied such an approach.”
