Our revered father and elder Prof. AbdulGaniy Olayinka Raji, who had just finished his term as the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) Resident Electoral Commissioner, received a surprise visit from leaders and members of the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN) Oyo State Area Unit on Sunday, August 21, 2022.
Along with a number of other national electoral tasks, Prof. AbdulGaniy Olayinka Raji was chosen in 2017 to represent the electoral umpire as the Resident Electoral Commissioner in the states of Ekiti, Ogun, and Osun during his five-year tenure.
The MSSN leadership praised Prof. Raji’s performance at INEC, and friends and well-wishers took some time to consider how Prof. Raji had impacted their success both individually and collectively.
Everyone who spoke about Prof. Raji agreed that he had a good reputation, perfect character, was humble, and was a leader who wanted what was best for everyone.
According to a statement from the Oyo State Area Unit signed by Olaiya Abdulrahman Olawale PRO, MSSN, Prof. AbdulGaniy Olayinka Raji received an Outstanding Achiever’s Award from the society’s leadership in recognition of his outstanding, uncompromising and untarnished professional achievement at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) & contribution to nation building.
Prayers and glorifications were made to Allah for the success of Prof. Raji’s national assignment and he was wished the best in his future endeavours.

Tawakalt Adedapo among several others.
