With a Profit After Tax, or PAT, of N2.54 billion, Jaiz Bank Plc has released its unaudited results for the six months ended June 30, 2022.
In a statement released on Sunday in Lagos, the firm stated this.
When compared to the N1.99 billion registered in the preceding period of 2021, the PAT represented a rise of 27.6%.
The bank’s overall revenue climbed over the review period by 17.8%, rising from N8.86 billion to N10.44 billion.
Additionally, the bank’s earnings per share improved during the period under review by 8.25%, rising to 7.34 from 6.78 in the second quarter of 2021.
Hassan Usman, the bank’s managing director and chief executive officer, commented on the outcome and reaffirmed that the firm remained committed to providing value creating ethical banking services to its growing customer base.
By leveraging on technology and extending its touch points across the country, Mr. Usman claimed that the bank would always be positioned to continue its remarkable earnings streak for the remainder of the year.
“Jaiz positive earnings result is undoubtedly reassuring to all stakeholders and the public.
“It underscores the role of Jaiz as the pioneer non-interest bank in Nigeria, as well as the industry leader,” he stated.
