Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Library (MBRL), a big library on Dubai Creek in the Al Jaddaf neighborhood of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. More than one million books are housed in the world’s first book-shaped library.
The Mohammed Bin Rashid Library in Dubai is an Arab cultural beacon, housing over one million printed and digital books, as well as 6 million research papers and theses worth one billion dirhams.
The General Library, Emirates Library, Young Adults Library, Children’s Library, Media and Arts Library, Business Library, Special Collection Library, Maps and Atlases Library, and Periodical Library are the nine library departments that make up the library.
The 54,000-square-meter structure resembles a giant open book. The Mohammed Bin Rashid Library will have a borrowing book section, internet services, open reading places, a stage, cinema, and a visual and auditory library, as well as a stage, cinema, and a visual and auditory library. There will also be places designated for youngsters.
Live library presentations, movies, and lectures will also be held at the facility.
