Kamal Dandina recently received his Master of Business Administration – MBA Business Administration and Management from Ajayi Crowther University. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Babcock University in Ilishan-Remo, Nigeria, few years ago. Kamal is the winner of the Diaspora Youth Talk Award for 2021.
He said, “In retrospect, I will say the journey has been beautifully scripted. The crazy twist and turns, the sacrifices and lessons learnt. This I can’t forget in a rush.

“I still carry profound memories of how challenging it was for as a banker, juggling the rigorous of work and school, as well as managing my finances for my fees,” the Technopreneur reflected. And of course, the COVID-19 pandemic, another beautiful plot twist to the story.
Kamal also stated that “Regardless, I appreciate every part of the journey and my forever able wing man Titilola Bello. It has been serendipity all along.”
The new MBA hoder offers advice to Nigerian students on strike. He said, “As I sit and bask in this moment of euphoria. I can’t help but remember the multitude of Nigerian youths sitting at home because of the ASUU strike. This is indeed saddening for anyone who cares to listen or chooses be aware.”
However, inaction never solves the problem. While I task myself to come up with possible learning alternatives, solutions and pathways. I want to encourage any student seeing this to keep hope alive. “Delay isn’t Denial”, he added.
