Twenty Million Deaf Visitors To Two Holy Mosques Will Benefit From Sign Language Service

The Directorate General of Services for Persons with Disabilities at the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Prophet’s Mosque continues its work and efforts in servicing individuals with disabilities at the mosque throughout Ramadan, in keeping with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

In the mosque, the directorate set aside a specific area that can accommodate around 100 people to serve those with impairments. Staff members who are trained in sign language interpret the Friday sermons and lectures for those who are deaf or hard of hearing.
