President Macky Sall of Senegal paid a visit to the Prophet’s Mosque on Monday, offering prayers and greeting the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and his two companions.
Dr. Mohammed Bin Ahmed Al-Khudairi, Assistant General President for the Prophet’s Mosque Affairs, and Col. Miteb Al-Badrani, Commander of the Prophet’s Mosque Security Force, greeted President Sall upon his arrival at the Prophet’s Mosque.
President Sall flew out of Madinah on Monday, capping off a tour to Saudi Arabia in which he conducted Umrah and paid a visit to the Prophet’s Mosque.
Macky Sall is a Senegalese politician who has served as the country’s president since April 2012. In the first round of voting in the Senegalese presidential election in February 2019, he was re-elected.
