Ramadan Olalekan Named Second Runner-Up in ‘I Beg To Differ’ Debate


Oladipupo Ramadan Olalekan, is the runner-up in the ‘I Beg To Differ’ Debate Tournament organized by Nigeria Info FM.

Oladipupo Ramadan Olalekan, 15, of Federal Government College, Ijanikin, was dubbed “The People’s Champion” and came in second place in the debate tournament, taking home a cheque for three hundred and fifty Naira (#350,000).

Ruth Okorocha, 14, won 1 million Naira in a debate event where she competed against 15-year-old Debrah Pamzat.

Throughout the tournament, Ramadan, the young, was praised by all for challenging sensible ideas with logical and in-depth analysis, particularly during the discussion on the theme, Lagos Can Fix Its “Agbero” Problem’.

Sandra Ezekwesili of Nigeria Info 99.3 hosts the ‘I beg to differ’ Student Debate Tournament. This is one of Nigeria’s best recent education programs.
