Six Kano Islamic Clerics Lost Their Lives in a Ghastly Motor Accident


After the Islamic propagation outreach, Da’awah, six Kano state Islamic clerics were reported to have lost their lives in an unfortunate ghastly motor accident.

According to the information gathered by the Muslim Voice’s correspondents who hastened to confirm the scene, these clerics became victims of fate on their way back from a Da’awah service sponsored by the Imam Malik Islamic Foundation and held in Sumaila.

One of the staff of the foundation whose name is, for some reasons, rather withheld stated that they received the news of the terrible occurrence at about 3:00pm.

She made known that the news broke to them was that the six prominent leaders of the Da’awah had given up the ghost.

She, however, added that, there is, presently, no confirmed news with regards to the fate of other staff who accompanied the clerics to the Da’awah service at Sumaila.

She said that, untill he lost his life to the ghastly accident, Sheik Alkhassim Zakariyyah was the leader.

“We’ve now assembled at the foundation in Dakata area and we would be proceeding soon to Sheik Alkhassim Zakariyyah’s residence for their burial”, she added.

When the attention of the Federal Road Safety Commission was sought, the commission, through their spokesperson, Abdullahi Labaran said that they’re yet to receive the news of the incident but they would investigate soon.
