Farida Zakariya, a pharmacist who also works as a user experience designer, was named the top graduating student in the college of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 2021/2022 academic session, receiving 12 prizes.

She announced it on her social media page, which also featured a showcase of her achievements. Farida said, “Only 12th April 2022, I was finally inducted into pharmacy profession as a Pharmacist after 5months long wait!!
“Going from not being top 10 in my first year to graduating as the overall best graduating student in the faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences with 12 awards and emerging as the best graduating student in 6 out of 6 departments in the faculty still feels like a dream!!!” she added.
Shalina Healthcare honored her with the Shalina Young Talents Award for Best Pharmacy Brain in Nigeria in November 2021.
