During the just concluded 25th & 26th Convocation Ceremonies of the University of Abuja under the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abdul-Rasheed Na’Allah, Hajia Yusuf Kolo Zainab was awarded the best graduating student of the 2019/2020 Academic Session.
She becomes UNIABUJA best graduating student with CGPA of 4.74 in Mathematics.
According to Zainab says, ” When my name was called during the convocation ceremony, I simply broke down in tears because it was shocking to me, I didn’t expect that at all.”
Recalling how the journey to academic stardom started in an interview with UNIABUJA, she narrates how she always wanted to make first class to make her late father proud.
“I didn’t have the plan of becoming the overall best graduating student, though I have always wanted to make first class to please my father, to make him proud. He is no more now, but one thing that keeps on pushing me is that even though he is no more I want people to know his name through my story.”
