The Council of the Academic Union (AU, Oxford, UK) and the Achievement Forum Organizing Committee has recognized the consistent work of the Vice Chancellor of Fountain University, Prof. Amidu Sanni in the field of scientific research, education and educational management as well as innovative development of modern society.
This was made known through a statement signed by Taoheed Alimi, Information Officer, Fountain University, Osogbo on Saturday 6th of February, 2022.
Taoheed Alimi said, “This is as the Academic Union seeks to popularize the activities, scientific research, innovative discoveries and achievements of the Vice Chancellor in Europe and worldwide as well as broaden the participation of Fountain University in international educational projects and programmes.
“The above was contained in a congratulatory message sent to the office of the Vice Chancellor by the Programme Coordinator of the Union, Ms Ann-Julia May.
Adding that the Presidium of the Academic Union has also offered to award the Vice Chancellor the title of Honorary Professor of the Academic Union Oxford with life membership in the Academic Union and the Honorary Professors Expert Council. The inauguration and presentation of the Honorary Professor attributes is set to hold on 25 March 2022.
Fountain University Implement CSR through Free Medical Outreach in Osogbo Community
The statement noted that, the event will feature the presentation of Fountain University’s achievements and sharing best practices with colleagues around the world. It will also see to the promotion of the University through the online exhibition.
In his reaction, Prof. Sanni expressed his delight and readiness to accept the offer of the Union. He further promised to build consolidation action on his numerous achievements in the academic world as well as with Fountain University.
