Today, yawmul Ah’ad 20th of Jumadal-Akhirah, 1443Hijriyyah corresponding Sunday, January 23rd, 2022 Kamal Salisu was joined in marriage with Aisha Abiola at the Shamsi Adisa Mosque, Ikeja, Lagos.
Mr Kamal Salisu has a First Class Honours in Computer Science from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria while Aisha Abiola is also a First Class Honours graduate of Economics from University of Lagos.
The Chairman/CEO of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, Alhaji Zikrullah Kunle Hassan officiated the Nikkah.
Earlier today, Imam Nojeem Jimoh who attended the wedding ceremony said, “The fathers of the couple – both from Abeokuta – were roommates at Mariere Hall, UNILAG, in the 1985/86 session.
“Both fathers met their wives (mothers of the Bride and Groom) while being students at UNILAG.

“The father of the Bride is a Doctor – as is the mother of the Groom (Ph.D.).
“Finally, to those who mock our daughters who choose to cover themselves out of modesty, there’s a good chance that girl is of a higher social standing than you. There are some legendary brains under that niqab,” he added.
