The Vice Chairman of the Dangote Group of Companies, Alhaji Sani Dangote and brother to Aliko Dangote, died on Sunday after a protracted illness in a hospital in Miami, United States of America.
The Muslim Voice learnt that the body of the deceased was brought to Kano early on Wednesday and was buried after the funeral prayer at the Palace of the Emir of Kano.
At about 11 a.m., thousands of Muslims attended the funeral prayer led by Imam Sani Muhammad. Sani Dangote was buried in the family cemetery close to the Sanusi Mosque at Koki, Kano.
We prayed to Allah to grant fortitude to the Dangote families over the loss. Aameen.
