Baytu Sakeenah Orphanage Home by SID Foundation was officially open on Saturday, October 2, 2021 in Lagos, Nigeria. The Foundation is duly registered with CAC. Baytul Sakeenah Orphanage Home was born out of the need to provide a safe haven from vulnerable Muslim youth and orphanage.
According to the organization, the decision to establish this orphanage was reached when Sisters-in Deen (SID) Foundation found out that Bab-el-Salaam (the only Muslim orphanage in Lagos) could not accommodate all the genuinely verified vulnerable children that were referred to it; owing to limited space and facilities.
