Greatness Is Not Attached To Certificate- Grand Mufti Of Yorubaland

“Vision with action is what changes the world and makes one an hero, and not the certificate acquired. Education without a vision, gives birth to nothing in life. As Muslims, we have a vision, and that vision was what created Islamic civilization and empire for Muslim in the past, which today has become abstract. So there is no how we can succeed and become great, if vision is not attached to our education. This is the basic for Islamic greatness.”

The above assertion was made on Wednesday, 3rd November, 2021 by Sheikh Daood Imran Molaasan, the founder and national President of Jama’at Ta’awunil Muslimeen, and the Grand Mufti at a valedictory service for SS3 students of Taawun Group of schools, Iwo, Osun State.

Earlier, Barrister Taofeeq Tewogbade (Al-Afriky) has urged the students to get engaged in vocational trainings and some handiwork before gaining admission. Likewise, he asked them to always look into someone they would like to become as it assists and helps in attaining greatness.

The Grand Mufti also used the occasion to let the students realized that we are in a country where its future is not certain. He advised them, to always have it at the back of their minds that they would be the one to right the wrongs of the country.

He called on Yoruba Muslims and asked if there is anyone thinking for their future. “This is our physical life, and we also have spiritual life. There is no how we can succeed if both have no one coordinating our affairs. There must be someone who submits his life for our existence. We need it now because no one knows what await this nation” he declared.
