Dawah Institute Begins Shariah Intelligence Course for Muslim Professionals in Niger State


During the past week, the Dawah Institute of Nigeria (DIN) has commenced the 6th Training Session of the Shariah Intelligence with 43 delegates from Niger state as part of its vision 2030.

The Shariah Intelligence course is a five-day course which began on 20th to 25th October. According to the organisation, the training is aimed at Muslim professionals from various Islamic organisation, Muslim Lawyers, Medical practitioners, Dawah workers, Security personnel and Islamiyyah teachers with the main focus of promoting a better and sound understanding of the higher objectives the Shari’ah.

The training methodology employed by the Da’wah Institute through the Shari’ah Intelligence course is one that has proven to be the most potent in creating safe spaces for progressive Islamic practices in Nigeria and the world.

The Muslim Voice NG discover that, participants have been engaged in some aspects of the Islamic jurisprudence Usul Al-Fiqh, Shariah Rulings, Sources of Evidence in Islamic Law among others.

Mustapha, one of the participants at the training, said “The course is very interesting and educative, it is a mind blowing one and it has widened my horizon within 48 hours.”

The Dawah Institute of Nigeria (DIN) is the research and Islamic propagation department of the Islamic Education Trust (IET). The DIN partners with other Islamic organisations for comprehensive capacity building and improved da’wah effectiveness. DIN has partnered with organisations in Nigeria as well as other countries in Africa, North America, Australia, South Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
