Shame…

“Wallahi! You don’t have anyone except Allah…and you guess what? “NOBODY” i repeat “NO ONE ” Ever is indispensable….Mend and fix your relationship with ya Rabb….because in there is where you find inner “PEACE” and “SOLACE” – Baceeroh Oshoala.

Last week, I read the above post on a sister’s page and my mind suddenly skipped. It has thereafter kept my heart congested with numerous thoughts about the unnecessary battles usually pursued by Muslim brothers on Facebook.

Sometimes, our nothingness becomes so real that I wonder where the consolation lies. We are poor; uninfluential, too garrulous and unintelligent. Many of us can hardly boast of good jobs. With a simple health challenge, we are on Facebook to beg for money for our brothers and sisters.

Yet, we come on Facebook with a sundry of video clips of Dawamania. There’s no curtsey; no hikmah in the Dawah approach; and therefore, there’s virtually no Maodhatun Hasanah (موعظة حسنة) in the message delivery. In a poor attempt to correct a pardonable wrong, some people speak as if the world is owned by their father.

As I have always admonished, Allah is not related to any of us by family ties. Even the government doesn’t know if anyone called Saidi Shittu exists; neither does the government know Yassalunaka, Jaqmal, Abu Mardiy, Okanlomo, the Amukoko malams, Kajue Baba and even Mudeerul Markaz.

The Government is not aware of your relevance. You all lack the power, influence, economic strength and even the smallest amount of political stamina to withstand any self-inflicted trouble you unnecessarily pursue without any eternal rewards.

Now that one of you, called Yassalunaka, is thrown into prison on account of slandering his brother in Islam, where is Okanlomo to break the prison? Where’s Mudeerul Markaz and Kajue Baba? Even Saidi Shittu who relied on Sunday Igboho to insult all the scholars of Islam in Yoruba land, where’s Igboho, his rebellious godfather?

How many of the so called eminent scholars of Islam in Yoruba land can enjoy the status of Adeboye or Oyedepo with the government? Even those pastors too know their limit. But you do the Dawah in a bole kaja style. It’s shameful indeed!

As the sister admonished above, you don’t have anyone except Allah…and you guess what? “NOBODY” i repeat “NO ONE ” Ever is indispensable….Mend and fix your relationship with ya Rabb….because in there is where you find inner “PEACE” and “SOLACE“.

Someone who hardly keeps the vigil (Qiyaam-layl) to seek the face of Allah; who doesn’t have the time to read a juz of the Quran daily in a solemn devotion; whose tongue is alien to Dhikr and whose life is miserably ravaged by extreme lack and hitching poverty, would come on Facebook to fight his fellow Muslim brother in the name of Islam – Shame!

Why can’t you work on your life and the hereafter?

Any Dawah-system that is not organized and whose vanguards are not trained by teachers and mentors is doom to fail. That’s the truth. The challenge facing this Ummah in Yoruba land is far beyond the trivial issues we cry upon. Yoruba Muslims are gradually becoming an endangered specie in the Southwest and we look away.

Hijabs and veils are ridiculed daily. The idol worshippers are bold to murder a Muslim inside his Masjid. Muslims are deprived their rights to rise. We are however busy mobilizing all available strength to destroy the honour of fellow Muslims because of Dawah.

Let’s change our ways and manner to please Allah. Let’s learn to disagree politely. Let’s concentrate on teaching Islam to ignorant folks. Let’s not be distracted by another person’s dance of shame. Let’s close our ranks and forge a formidable front against the devil. There’s no pride in suffering in vain in the hands of your brother. It doesn’t add to your eternal rewards.

Please, don’t insult me ooo, because I am a hustling orphan. May Allah rectify our affairs…
